Injustice Gods Among Us Balance Update Detailed

NetherRealm Studios will release a major balance update for Injustice: Gods Among Us on October 1st, and this morning, they detailed the patch with a set of patch notes listing the changes it will implement.

Some of the fixes include little convenience tweaks, such as being able to restart an offline versus match right from the pause menu. You’ll also be able to rematch instantly in online matches. Additionally, a number of frame data corrections have been made to the game.

Character-specific changes are being made as well. For instance, the size of Batgirl’s hit box has been increased slightly, making her vulnerable to a wider range of attacks. Meanwhile, an issue with Green Arrow that prevented him from correctly entering a crouching state while firing low arrows has been fixed.

These are just two of dozens of changes made to the game. You can find the full list of patch notes here.

Devil Summoner Soul Hackers Hits Europe In September

Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers has a release date in Europe. NIS America have announced that the game will be available at retail on September 20th and on the Nintendo eShop starting September 25th.

That’s one Shin Megami Tensei game with a release date in Europe, at least. Shin Megami Tensei IV, which was announced by Nintendo earlier in the year, still doesn’t have a release date attached to it.

Before Soul Hackers, however, NIS America will be releasing another Atlus RPG in Europe—Etrian Odyssey IV, which will launch on August 30th.

Pokémon X And Pokémon Y Introduce Their Fossil Pokémon

The Pokémon Company have revealed the two fossil Pokémon in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y—Tyrunt and Amaura, obtained by using the Jaw Fossil and Sail Fossil respectively.

Tyrunt is said to be “over one hundred million years old” and will throw a fit when it doesn’t like something. It’s a Rock/Dragon type and evolves into Tyrantrum, a Pokémon with large, powerful jaws.

Meanwhile, Amaura has the Refrigerate ability, which turns Normal-type moves into Ice-type moves. Refrigerate is a new ability being introduced in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.

Amaura evolves into Aurorus. Both Pokémon are Rock/Ice-types. Like Tyrunt, Amaura is believed to be one hundred million years old. After it evolves, it can blast air to form a wall of ice to shield itself from attacks. It can learn Aurora Beam at an early level and also has a move named Freeze-Dry, which is super-effective against Water-type Pokémon—something that isn’t typical of Ice-type moves.

Fossils can be restored at the Fossil Lab, seen below. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will be available on October 12th worldwide.

Scribblenauts Unmasked A DC Comics Adventure Launches, Steam Store Copy is Overpriced

Launched just yesterday, Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure can be had for a low price of $20.25 (Steam key version). The funny thing about this price is that the Steam Store (and a few other retailers) have the game listed with a MSRP of $39.99, but for whatever reason GMG lists the game at $29.99.

With an already low list price stacking with instant savings and coupon, Unmasked at GMG is 40% cheaper than what you'd pay for the same exact game at Steam Store ' and either way, you're still getting a Steam key. Solid deal.

Some other PC game picks this week include Rayman Legends and Ninja Blade for only $1.50. It's not exactly FromSoftware's best title (makers of Armored Core and Dark Souls series), but the price is dirt cheap. Titles below activate on Steam unless otherwise noted.
