NVIDIA has unveiled the newest addition to its NVIDIA Quadro FX family, theNVIDIA Quadro FX 700. This professional graphics solution delivers unprecedentedprice-performance to industries that rely on graphics and computationallyintensive computer-aided design, digital content creation, and scientificvisualisation software applications. Featuring a new silent cooling system, theNVIDIA Quadro FX 700 outperforms high-end and upper midrange competitive boardson key industry-standard tests including SPECviewperf® 7.1.1 3dsmax-02, ProE-02,and Ugs-03.

NVIDIA has also introduced the NVIDIA Quadro FX 600 PCI, a professional 3Dgraphics solution that extends a user’s workspace by up to eighthigh-resolution, digital flat panels powered by one NVIDIA-based PC workstation.Armed with all NVIDIA Quadro FX features such as stereo 3D viewing, the NVIDIAQuadro FX 600 PCI powers interactive visual “roaming” of huge data sets such asdownloads of satellite imagery via a 256MB frame buffer. Ideal for drivingapplications in markets including geospatial and medical imaging, this PCIimplementation can also serve as an advanced graphics console in servers.
